Using this website

This website is published by Aurenhold Studio for information about its services. The content is provided in good faith and kept current, but it is general information, not advice for a specific business, and it is not a binding proposal or a guarantee of a particular outcome.

Intellectual property on this site

The Aurenhold Studio name, identity, written content and original visual materials on this website are owned by or licensed to Aurenhold Studio, and may not be reproduced or republished without permission.

Ownership of work delivered to a client is a separate matter, dealt with below.

Terms of engagement for project work

These apply to paid project work and are confirmed in the written proposal for each engagement. Where a proposal and this page differ, the signed proposal governs.

Prices and payment

• All prices are in Australian dollars. Aurenhold Studio is not registered for GST, and no GST is charged.
• Fixed-price packages are payable as set out in the proposal. Larger builds may be staged, with each stage invoiced separately.
• Invoices are payable before work starts. Work on a project, or on a stage of it, begins once the relevant invoice is paid.
• Work may be paused on overdue accounts, after notice.

Scope, revisions and delays

• Each proposal defines what is included, what is excluded, and the revision allowance.
• Work beyond that scope is quoted separately before it begins — never added silently to an invoice.
• Projects depend on client-supplied content and approvals. Where these are delayed, timelines move accordingly.
• A project inactive for more than 60 days may be closed and re-quoted to restart.

Ownership of the delivered website

On payment in full, ownership of the final delivered design and content produced specifically for the client transfers to the client, together with a perpetual right to use, modify and host it.

Aurenhold Studio retains ownership of its pre-existing tools, components, underlying design system and general know-how, and may re-use those on other projects. Third-party elements — fonts, stock assets, platform subscriptions, payment gateways — remain under their own licences, and any recurring cost for them is the client’s responsibility and is identified before purchase.

Client responsibilities

• You confirm that content you supply is accurate and does not infringe anyone else’s rights.
• You indemnify Aurenhold Studio against claims arising from content you supplied.
• You are responsible for domain, hosting and third-party platform costs unless the proposal states otherwise.

Cancellation

Either party may end an engagement in writing. Work completed to that point is payable, and any amount paid in advance for work not yet started is refunded. Files for paid, completed stages are handed over.

Australian Consumer Law

Nothing in these terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy under the Australian Consumer Law that cannot lawfully be excluded — including the guarantees that services are supplied with due care and skill and are fit for the purpose disclosed.

To the extent permitted by law, and other than for those non-excludable rights, liability for a failure to comply with a consumer guarantee is limited to resupplying the services or paying the cost of having them resupplied. Neither party is liable for indirect or consequential loss, including lost profits or lost business opportunity.

Disputes and governing law

Concerns should be raised first by email to info@aurenholdstudios.com, and both parties agree to attempt resolution in good faith before other steps. These terms are governed by the laws of Queensland, Australia.

Third-party services

This website links to and relies on third-party services. Their own terms and privacy policies apply to them, and Aurenhold Studio is not responsible for their content or availability.
